Casa Lupo Lugana DOC

Turbiana, also known as Trebbiano di Lugana, is a native grape variety with a strong territorial identity. It thrives on limestone and clay soils and benefits from the lake breezes and the typically Mediterranean climate that characterizes the area. Harvested at full ripeness in September, together with the exceptional quality of the terroir, it gives life to a fresh yet structured wine with remarkable aging potential.

Thanks to the bâtonnage technique, the fine lees are kept in suspension, enhancing the wine with its characteristic roundness and longevity.

The distinctive feature of Lugana is its dual personality: when young, it expresses freshness and elegance, while after a few years of bottle aging, the fruity notes evolve into more refined almond nuances.

Lugana displays a straw-yellow color with elegant golden reflections.
Its complex bouquet reveals notes of exotic fruit such as pineapple and cantaloupe, accompanied by delicate citrus hints.

On the palate, it is dry and fresh, with a well-balanced softness.

Ideal as an aperitif, it pairs beautifully with cod crostini and appetizers. It also complements traditional lake dishes such as grilled whitefish and bigoli pasta with sardines, as well as fusion-inspired cuisine like salmon sushi and vegetable tempura.

Serving temperature: 6 – 8°C.
